Use this 3 part SimpleSpecs specification template to specify selective building or site demolition, where part of the existing construction is to remain.
This section includes general requirements for selective site or building demolition.
Drawings should clearly indicate existing construction to be removed and that to remain. If existing materials are to be removed and turned over to the Owner, include a list of those materials either on the Drawings or in a schedule at the end of this Section.
When the Owner will occupy part of an existing structure during demolition and construction, it may be necessary to indicate occupancy locations and phasing either in this section, in Section 01 11 00 – Summary, or on the drawings.
