Precast Concrete Splash Blocks
Use this CSI 3 part SimpleSpecs™ master to specify precast concrete splash blocks for use where downspouts terminate at grade.
Precast concrete splash blocks are often placed under downspouts that discharge at grade, both to direct water away from the building foundation and to prevent erosion.
Splash blocks can also be used on roofs where an upper roof’s downspouts discharge onto a lower roof.
In this instance place a walkway pad or additional layer of roof membrane under the splash block to prevent damage to the roof membrane.
