Cast Stone

Use this 3-part specification to specify cast stone units that resemble natural stone but are fabricated off site of concrete materials, then installed on site in a manner similar to natural limestone. Typical products include columns, sills, keystones, and corner and opening trim.

This section also includes flashings, weeps, mortar dropping control, and other accessories required for installation.

For assistance in selecting and detailing cast stone refer to the CastStone Institute’s Technical Resources at (link).
