Egress gates are used to prevent overtravel below exit level in stairways.

For easier code compliance, EgressGate has designed a universal fit gate meeting the International Building Code (IBC) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).  The gate meets requirements without extensive detailing on the drawings and custom fabrication costs.  It’s the only universal stair interruption gate that’s ready for approval.

EgressGate fits most applications out of the box and offers adjustable width, any swing direction, universal wall mounting, and is available with a pre-mounted “No Exit” sign.
