Use this 3 part SimpleSpecs™ master specification to specify sprayed polyurethane foam roofing system.

Roofing consists of a polyurethane foam base and an elastomeric topcoat. This type of roofing is also known as coated foam roofing.

Roofing provides for insulation, slope to drains, and a final roof surface. It can be applied over existing roof systems with proper preparation.

Polyurethane foam is extremely susceptible to damage by ultraviolet and must be protected by a topcoat. The topcoat requires regular inspection and reapplication to prevent damage.

Roofing works well on irregularly shaped roofs where other roofing types would be difficult to install.
