Fall Protection Systems

What is it?

A type of fall protection system used to protect workers who are performing tasks at height on structures such as buildings, bridges, and towers. The system consists of a cable or series of cables that are secured to the structure and used to support a worker’s harness or lanyard.

The cable used in these systems is made from stainless steel or galvanized steel.  And is designed to withstand high loads and resist corrosion. Secured to the structure using specialized anchors or brackets.  That are designed to distribute the load across the structure and prevent damage.

Designed to allow workers to move freely along the length of the cable.  While remaining attached to the system at all times. The worker is attached to the cable using a lanyard or harness that is connected to the cable with a trolley or shuttle. The trolley or shuttle allows the worker to move along the cable while maintaining a secure connection to the system.
