Metal Stairs
Use this free downloadable CSI 3 part specification to specify Metal Stairs by Pacific Stair Corporation.
The specification covers shop-fabricated steel stairs. These stairs may have concrete-filled steel pan, precast concrete, smooth steel plate, steel bar grating, or “quiet tread” checkered steel plate treads and landings.
Railings may be tube steel of several designs, steel rods, vertical steel pickets, steel wire mesh, stainless steel cable, or glass construction.
Steel egress gates used to prevent overtravel below exit level in stairways can also be included.
