Who We Are
ZeroDocs.com, Inc. is a boutique specification writing company in Irvine, California, run by Adam Schwegel.
Adam is a CDT-certified construction industry professional and a LinkedIn Voice. He has spent more than 25 years in commercial construction sales, specification writing, and estimating. He earned his CDT in 2001 and has led ZeroDocs for more than a decade.
What We Do
Two audiences. One mission. Get the right products into the right specs.
For building product manufacturers, we write 3-part guide specifications that are concise, easy for architects to review, and built to keep your product in the spec. We also help manufacturers with sustainability documentation as submittals. We provide brands with an affordable resource for developing Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and Health Product Declarations (HPDs), and how to use them to generate sales.
For architects and specification writers, we supply complete office master specification templates through SpecsMadeSimple. They arrive in Microsoft Word, ready to edit. One-time purchase. No subscription. The templates are written by Craig, an independent specifier with 30+ years of experience, who’s on a mission to help more architects become specifiers with SimpleSpecs.
What We Believe
Specifications are the most underused sales tool in construction.
Most manufacturers don’t have one. Or they have a 10+ page specification that nobody reads.
A good spec positions your product. It protects the architect. It gives the contractor a reason to call you, instead of calling the competition.
