What are gate operators?

Gate operators are devices that can open, close and monitor the opening and closing of a gate. They are used in both residential and commercial settings, but they’re most common in industrial settings where safety is a primary concern. They’re also often used to control access to a property or building.

Gate operators are typically installed with an automatic gate, which means they need power from a battery or utility source to function. The operator takes its cues from sensors installed on the gate itself, which alert it when someone approaches (or attempts to exit). When this happens, the operator will open or close the gate as necessary.

How do you use them?

The exact process for using a gate operator depends on where it’s installed and how it’s configured for your needs.  Here are a few general guidelines to follow:

• –Once installed by professional technicians who understand how to install these devices properly (and safely), gate operators should be easy enough for anyone who wants access to your property to use without any training or instruction.
