Use this 3 part SimpleSpecs™ master specification to specify revolving door entrances fabricated from aluminum, stainless steel, brass, or bronze.
This section includes manually-and electrically operated revolving entrance doors. Manual doors require the user to push the door while electric doors start to rotate when a user approaches. Manual doors with power assist are also available.
Revolving entrance doors are rated by capacity; the number of persons that can use the door per minute.
Enclosures and ceilings for revolving doors can be glass or metal. Ceilings can include lighting.
Some manufacturers offer revolving doors in all-glass, security, and other configurations.
Finishes for exterior aluminum must provide resistance to weathering and ultraviolet degradation. Class II anodizing and lower quality painted coatings may not suitable for exterior use.
