Use this 3 part SimpleSpecs™ master specification to specify ground or wall mounted flagpoles.
Available in aluminum, stainless steel, and brass. They can be ground- or wall-mounted, manually or electrically operated.
Revolving trucks are nearly always used to prevent tangling of the flag around the pole.
Both manual and electric winches are available as are internal and external halyards. Where poles are fitted with external halyards some damage to the pole finish should be expected due to the movement of the metal fittings.
This damage is more apparent on dark anodized aluminum and painted aluminum finishes.
Fiberglass poles are also available and can be added to this section. These poles are often used where theft of aluminum flagpoles for their recycle value is a concern.
All poles must be electrically grounded.
